Decory Edwards - PhD in Economics

Hello, I am Decory Edwards. I earned a PhD in Economics from Johns Hopkins University in July 2026. I am actively looking for work and am excited to continue working in economics if given the opportunity.

I am a macroeconomist studying the interaction between inequality and macroeconomics. My dissertation explores the potential for rate of return heterogeneity to allow standard macroeconomic models to match wealth moments. As a Houston native, my research interests have more recently shifted toward health and energy policy, given the rich markets for both in Texas.

I have experience as both an academic and private tutor, as well as a teaching assistant for many years.
